We are grateful to have been invited to share Métis dance as performers at the Indigenous Women’s Arts Conference 2022 at St. Laurent Centre.
Between dances, we invited children from the audience to learn a few basic steps. Just under a dozen little ones joined us on the dance floor over the course of our Saturday and Sunday performances.
We’re also happy to take pictures with anyone who wants to remember these special days together. Don’t be shy! Just ask!
We also spent some time fundraising for Youth4Youth Canada in support of Kisac and Talk Overdose. We handmake these chocolates in our own home using fresh ingredients and no preservatives! Thanks to everyone who supported us, told us to ‘keep the change’, or just made a donation. We’re so thankful.
