The third day of our performances at the 30th Annual Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) Annual General Assembly (AGA) brought us to the Westin Ottawa ballroom for the Gala Dinner.
We had a chance to meet Amanda Rheaume and her band, including Alyssa Delbaere-Sawchuk who we originally met at the Oshawa & Durham Metis Heritage Celebration. Alyssa, along with guitarist Kyler Tapscott, did us the honour of playing for our performance with our Junior Jiggers.
Here’s our rendition of the Red River Jig. Forgive the slight pause at the start; there were some technical difficulties with the sound booth.
