It was a privilege to be invited to perform at the 2nd Annual Indigenous Roots Day cultural festival.
We met on beautiful and sunny Petrie Island, where we performed along with many other talented artists including Inuit throat singers, Hoop dancers, and Fancy Shawl dancers. There were also lots of booths to learn about our cultures, and activities for the kids. Best of all, it was completely free and open to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. We hope to be back again next year!
