ELCC Canada–Métis Partnership

We were excited to bring Métis jigging and live fiddling to the Early Learning and Child Care Canada–Métis Partnership Table Gathering. Stakeholders from across the country came together at the historic Fairmont Château Laurier to discuss Métis early learning and child care.

After a hard day's work, they were treated to live fiddle tunes by the incredibly talented Chad Wolfe and to several of our Métis Jigging performances. Chad's powerful fiddle playing helped to make the evening a true celebration of Métis spirit and community. We loved seeing people clapping along, smiling, and even trying out a few steps themselves.

It was an honour to be a part of the evening festivities and to be sharing culture through music and dance. Performances like this remind us that Métis culture is living, thriving, and meant to be shared. Thank you to the ELCC Canada–Métis Partnership Table for inviting us to be a part of your gathering.
