After initially being invited to an event as a vendor, we were thankful to be able to perform for the attendees.
The event, “A NEW DAWN”, was hosted at Kitchissippi United Church in Ottawa and was a created as day to learn, reflect and take action on Reconciliation. It included speakers, musicians, poets, workshops, and arts and craft vendors. We were offered a spot to sell our handmade indigenous chocolates to fundraise for Youth4Youth Canada, which you can see in the photo above. More pictures of our handmade chocolates are on the Y4Y Canada Instagram page.
Thanks to Pamela Naymark for reaching out to us! Much gratitude also to @worldchangingkids for taking the video posted up top. We were quite busy!
